The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry offers two graduate programs leading to a Master of Science (M.S.) or a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemistry.

  • Students interested in obtaining the master's degree may select from two options: the thesis option or the teacher certification option. 
  • Prospective candidates of the Ph.D. degree may do advanced study and research in analytical, biological, inorganic, organic, or physical chemistry.
